Leesburg, Oh. (C103) -- Former Fairfield girls basketball coach Kevin Fouch died at his home Friday, February 5, 2010. He was 54.
He had worked for the Leesburg Fairfield School District as Maintenance Supervisor for more than 25 years. He also coached the Fairfield Lady Lions Basketball team from 1991-2006. Those sixteen years makes him the most tenured coach in Lady Lion history. During his tenure he was named Southern Hills League Coach of the Year and Southeast District Coach of the Year. As the Lady Lions coach, he holds the record for the most wins, most sectional titles (6) and the only district title in school history in 1994.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the Leesburg United Methodist Church under the direction of the Turner Funeral Home in Leesburg. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Olen Grandle Gymnasium at Leesburg-Fairfield High School. Burial will be at the Hardin's Creek Cemetery at Bridges. |
